These very gemmy barrel-cut beads come from the days (in the '90s) when miners didn't know how fast their opal mines would run dry. Today, Peruvian blue opal is so rare, no gem cutters in their right mind would waste even a fraction of a carat to cut beads from such clean rough material. The hand made 18k matte yellow gold saucer-shaped beads add a buttery yellow counterpoint. Secures with a toggle clasp; 7.75" long--fits most wrists (may be lengthened or shortened).
