An updated take on an exotic Balinese antique design-- this "Tata Bali" bracelet is fashioned from thick black Indonesian coral that the designer found on a beach while on a scuba diving trip in the exotic "Coral Triangle". Using the traditional technique of heat-shaping, her favorite octogenarian goldsmith created this intricate repoussé (hammer-formed) design in 18k antiqued (darkened) gold, to highlight the rich traditional floral detail.
