The herringbone weave of this supple and delicate "Wheat Chain" design has been popular for millennia, since the Sumerians perfected the loop-in-loop hand-fabrication technique around 3,000BC. All of our 22k gold chains are 100% hand made using ancient goldsmithing processes-- we even create our own chain-making wire from scratch! 19 inches long, 1.5 mm thick, with an 18k gold hook locking clasp for durability and security. This chain is perfect for our larger (28" version shown on model) and smaller pendants and charms.
