"Compass" Pendant (Jade, Ruby, 22k Gold)

Our "Compass" pendant design was inspired by spiritual traditions of the East. Embellished with an 8-petal gold "lotus", one of the symbols of Buddhism's "8 Noble Truths", this matte-finish floral motif is set with a faceted ruby encircled by four vibrant rubies signifying the four cardinal directions, totaling .5 carats. The base stone is a rich 66 carat nephrite jade gem from British Columbia, crafted into a donut shape, bezeled in 18k gold, suspended by a hinged clasp which opens to accommodate chains and cords up to 4.5mm in diameter.
