"Mini Malta Cross" Pendant (Natural White Zircon, 18k Gold, Oxidized Sterling Silver)

Our "Mini Malta" cruciform pendant, hand-fabricated in a casual blend of oxidized (blackened) sterling silver contrasting with 18k yellow gold is the perfect petite charm for delicate beaded necklaces and mixed-metal chains (our Pattya chain, shown). Graced with 2.7 carats of trillion and round-cut faceted white natural zircon*, this versatile piece has a Bohemian vibe, great for every day wear. A hinged, locking clasp fits over chains, beads, and cords up to 5mm in diameter. Dimensions: Approximately 1.25" x 1". This is our only one in white zircon, but we have blue sapphire, ruby, and aqua-colored apatite as well. May be custom-ordered in other gemstones.

*Zircon is a naturally-mined gemstone with the same refractive-index ("sparkle factor") as diamond, and is not to be confused with cubic zirconium, which is a lab-created diamond simulant. With a Mohs hardness of 6.5, it is suitable for jewelry, though not as durable as diamond and sapphire. It has been valued since ancient times, and is even mentioned in biblical texts.
