"Buddha Padma" Pendant (Carved Emerald Buddha, 22k, 18k Gold, Sterling Silver)

Our "Buddha Padma" pendant is designed as a talismanic token of faith in the "Ultimate All-Rightness of the Universe" (to share an Aldous Huxley phrase). Honoring Buddhist tradition, we created a miniature statuette with a 9 carat Brazilian emerald hand-carved buddha featuring an oxidized silver "halo" decorated with 22k gold granulation. The meditating Buddha is seated in a hand-forged sterling silver "lotus", secured with an 18k gold hinged clasp with safety lock on back. One of our more diminutive pendants at 1.25" x 1/2", this piece pairs well with our mixed-metal oxidized silver chains (shown), and would also look fabulous on our "Winona" chrysoprase beaded chain (N-13350). This is our only version in emerald, but you can custom-order in many other gemstones.
