"Deep Blue Octopus" Ring (Lightning Ridge Opal, Paraiba Tourmaline, 22k Gold)

An homage to the Denizens of the Deep, which the designer encounters whilst scuba diving in Indonesia, our "Deep Blue Octopus" ring with an expertly carved 22.5 carat  electric-blue Lightning Ridge Australian opal (sensuously hand-shaped and polished by famed Italian gem carver Daniella L'Abbaté), is a masterpiece of design and hand-craftsmanship. Rare Paraiba tourmalines (.45 carat total weight) are clasped by the golden 22k tentacles of the "octopus", which is hand-fabricated by carving (no wax mold or casting!). This is a stellar bespoke design from our Magnum Opus collection of heirloom-quality pieces.
